Traveller History Month Exhibition
Every June since 2008, people from across the UK have celebrated Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month (GRTHM).
Through celebration, education and raising awareness, Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month helps to tackle prejudice, change the story, and amplify the voices of Gypsies, Roma and Travellers in wider society.
We are proud to be taking part in the local exhibition for traveller history month, parents/carers and neighbours are welcom to our school on the 17/18 & 19 June at 3.20pm to 4.20pm to view the exhibtion, please see the poster below wth more details.
This exhibition focuses on particular themes, times and places, using a selection of archival materials, photos, newspaper cuttings, and audio recordings of Romany and Irish Travellers who share knowledge and memories, and reflect on Traveller life, past and present.
