On Tuesday 10th October the Mayor of Bromley visited the school to open the Susan Oliver Sensory Hub.

Funding for the hub was donated by Marcus Oliver and his family to create a sensory room in a shepherd's hut for the school. Donations like these make a significant impact on school environments, especially for children who may benefit from a sensory room for various reasons. Their generosity is greatly appreciated, and it is a truly valued contribution to the school community. Such an act of kindness has enhanced the environment for the children and has provided a valuable resource for the school.

The naming of the sensory room as the "Susan Oliver Sensory Hub" is a beautiful and meaningful tribute to honour Susan's memory and her dedicated service to our school from 1997 to 2006. It is heart-warming to know that colleagues who shared fond memories of Susan came together on Tuesday to pay their respects and celebrate her remarkable legacy.

This gesture not only commemorates Susan's time at the school but also creates a lasting legacy that will benefit generations of students. The Susan Oliver Sensory Hub will serve as a reminder of her dedication to the school and her passion for providing a supportive and enriching environment the children of St Paul’s Cray. It is a wonderful way to keep her spirit alive and continue her positive impact on the school community.
