Teaching in a Church School
St Paul's Cray C of E Primary School is within the Diocese of Rochester. As a Church of England school, it is both distinctive and inclusive. This means that we are open to and inclusive of those of other faiths, or no faith. Outstanding RE teaching comes from the Bexley Agreed Syllabus which incorporates learning about a range of world faiths.
You do not have to be a Christian to teach in this school, although staff members are expected to fully respect the school's Christian ethos.
Staff in this school benefit from high quality continued professional development through courses and through staff meetings at school, and within the Amadeus Academy.
The Christian commitment to the value of the school that all should flourish extends beyond the pupils in the classrooms to the staff and every member of the wider school community.
